A luxurious manor with 67 bedrooms has just gone on the market | Metro News

Looks a bit pokey to me, must have fallen on hard times.

Dinner was cod and king prawn curry.
quite nice for a first attempt, bit too heavy on the curry i think.
needs to be more delicate, like myself ;-)
      oh, and Rioja.
Monday is quiz night - MM, OC and UC.
      TBD after that.

Day 1 back at the grindstone was as inspiring as I expected. I really need to find a way to quit working.

I'm about to retire for the fourth time.
I find it excruciatingly boring, retirement.
My family circumstances preclude travelling, and i find things like golf etc mindnumbing.

You need to get a hobby that is essentially working but you don't have to it day in day out. I know a few retired people who do such things.

Ents is currently Who Do You Think You Are with Jodie Whittaker.

Later I'll catch up with UC and OC.

yes, thanks, that's what everybody tells me.
problem is, if it's not bikes, drums, scuba diving or the like, it's boring.
and i'm less physically capable of all of those with each month that passes.
                but thanks anyway.

                  Watching Dispatches.

Interesting advert didn't know you could get Netflix with Sky. Why would you do that?

Because Sky pay Netflix money to ensure people don't bin the Sky box.

On the retiring thing: retire then unretire.

                      Retirement is tedious.

I've been unemployed but retirement is worse.

James Sikking turned up in The Magnificent 7 Ride! which improved it somewhat, along with Ralph Waite (Waltons/NCIS).

Currently watching Walliams finding out who he is.

His great Grandad joined up on 30th Sept 1914. Grenadier Guards.

Poor sod was at the Somme and Ypres.

                      Shellshock.

                      Sent back to the front.

                      Shellshock.

Fecked for the rest of his life hearing voices.

Ends up in the lunatic asylum.

                      Dies in 1962.
