        Morning denizens

Sunny and Simpsonesque out, but it's a trap: a mere 12°C out there

18° to 19° in here, and rising due to the greenhouse effect of the big windows

Zoom call starts in a few minutes…

Late breakfast of home smoked kippers and poached eggs.

Need to smoke some more as this was the last batch in the freezer.

Roast chuck later, been a while since I did a proper Sunday roast.

Grey, bits of sun and now rain.

Trying to work out when I can light the BBQ in between showers, have to time it so I can stick the chicken on to cook wile watching F1 without interrupting my viewing.

Last night's entertainment was Black Panther.

Tea was pate de compagne made with pork cheek and my home cured bacon made from piggies from the farm next door.

It's a children's farm, pretty large one they do breeding programmes with local farmers and the animals get sold for meat.

The fact they do that doesn't go down well with the local veggie brigade.

quite bright, if a trifle chilly this morning.
