Just for a change, I used the ultra-quick programme; done in under forty minutes

I keep forgetting about that one. I reckon it would be perfectly adequate for the mundane laundry most of the time too; it's not as if I'm working down the pit or anything

            Just above 30C outside now.

Might have to open a cold drink shortly

Duly extracted, with five lawns mown.

Even got the strimmer out for the 2nd time this year.

I wash the smalls at 40 deg C on the 20 minute cycle.

They seem clean enough to me.

Quite why the sheets need 3+ hours at 60 deg, I really dunno, but I suppose there must be some sort of reason.

              Sheets dried on the line.

now, though I did have a little 20 minute after lunch.

It's fecking hot out there in the sun.

              21.4 deg in here.

Weather app says it's 29 degrees outside. It can stay outside.

I really must get inside/outside thermometers so I can see the temperature difference as it's lovely and cool in my office.

Last meeting of the day done. Tempted to clock off but am being a good citizen and lingering online for a little while

I see there's someone asking about courses on embedded programming.

It's difficult enough finding a book on it, I'd have thunk that courses might be like hen's teeth.

Then again, we've progressed a bit from the 4 bit and 8 bit era to 32 bit with megabytes of rom and ram.

                    Funny old world.

I'm still stuck in the 8 bit 1k rom 100 bytes ram arena.
