Home again!
Originally posted by NickFitz View PostNow sat on a bench in a Georgian square off New Walk by the museum and art gallery, waiting for a phone call to tell me the car’s ready - the place is just around the corner from here
Once the car was finally sorted out, I was able to stop off at the pharmacy on the way home and get this month’s prescriptions. This involved queuing, widely spaced, in the car park, which was at least almost empty for a change. The transaction was then performed through a window by the door that was open a crack, talking to one of the regular staff members who I recognised despite her foolish attempt to disguise herself with a mask, who then deposited the stuff through the window beneath that where it fell into a plastic box on the ground
Naturally, as soon as I got out of the car and joined the queue, it started to rain. Just a quick shower thoughComment

And very relaxing it was. They should encourage people to go to such places just so they can relax and distance themselves from the unremitting misery of the mass media
