Lunch: scrambled egg, poached tomato on Morrisons pumpkin seed whole grain toast. Will this loaf never end? Bramble jelly sarnie. 1.05 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Sadly the Pret in T5 departures (the main one, not the one by gate A1) had no toasties at all. Ended up with a tuna wrap, which is not even remotely close to being a good substitute.

Trip down the dump in the sunshine done & dusted.

The accumulated detritus the idle feckers deposited out of their car windows has variously met the scrap metal skip and the bottle bank, with the odd bit of waste paper thrown in for good measure, plus a bag full of plastic bottles.

Currently listening to "Land of Hope & Glory" from a cd left in the car by Strangelove Pater all those years ago.

The cd player in the car no longer plays cds but it plays ok on the one up here.

Now we're on to "Jerusalem".

I must be a real because I find them quite moving.

Non-stop action here as a pigeon flies down from next door’s chestnut tree into our front garden, then wanders around the gravel for a bit, pecking at odd bits in a desultory manner.
