This evening's first epic was "Geronimo: An American Legend (1993)" with Jason Patric, Wes Studi, Matt Damon, Gene Hackman and Robert Duvall.

    The photography was stunning.

The accuracy of the tale rather less so.

This evening's 2nd feature is "City Hall (1996)" with Al Pacino, John Cusack, Bridget Fonda, and Danny Aiello.

    It's getting a bit tense.

Sommat nasty is going to happen.

    And so saying, it did.

Though nowhere near the usual level of mayhem one might expect considering the leads.

Naturally enough, having watched said epic, I then found the mandatory 2nd copy in the other room.

I wonder if there's another copy of "Geronimo" lurking somewhere.

Tonight's big feature was a rewatch of Mission: Impossible - Fallout (2018), which is cracking stuff as one would expect; and those amazing landscapes in the finale really pop in 4K

And then a rewatch of Now You See Me (2013), which is arrant nonsense but great fun

              Goodnight all

                    Morning.

                    Blue skies.

                    Sunny.

                    No perceptible precipitation.

Not windy (no lentil <pfffft> soup).

                    The weather's borked again.

And now decisions about what to do with the day once the morning dump is over.

'Tis roast beef again this week, following the purchase from Morrisons of some greatly reduced beef yesterday (or was it on Friday? The days blend into each other and I've not retired yet. Pass the mushrooms they're supposed to be good for something but I can't remember quite what).

Up early to do a software release...

                      Then mowed the lawn

So time for a coffee n smoke.

Sunny but the wind is chilly.

So I suppose you could say it's nice out of the wind.

Nothing else planned so will offer myself up to the magic rectangle and hope for inspiration.
