Yesterday's entertainment was provided by S3Ep5 of "Fargo". I didn't enjoy this ep as much as the previous ones.
Followed by S14 ep 17 of NCIS which was amusing in parts,<spoiler> where McGee finds a body under the floorboards of his apartment.
Followed by half of "The Life and Death of Colonel Blimp", which, despite the case saying it lasts for 1:38, in fact lasts for 2:43, so I had to go to bed half way through, having got as far as late 1918.
Aha! It transpires that the film was butchered to death in the American market, even more so than after Churchill's complaints.
The dvd is the restored version.

Rather irritatingly, this was supposed to be a 2 dvd set, with the second dvd being
A Matter of Life and Death (1946) - IMDb
(original title: "Stairway to Heaven" without the guitar solo).
The 2nd dvd is missing, much to my chagrin, having paid a whole 33p for the two.Last edited by zeitghost; 30 June 2017, 09:39.Comment
