Thanks. I am really pleased its a contract. Banks are under offshoring pressure the whole time now.

In the team of 8 I was in there were 2 Indians on UK visas. I can see them being shipped back to India at some point.

Can't you get the kids on it?

#4 and #5 are away too. #3 appears for 10 minutes a day and is usually already pissed. Still, at least his poison is legal now.

Hopefully he's moving out soon - today I offered a month's deposit on his rent to encourage him. He'll be 30 next month - really time to feck off I think.

Yes, he's working for a plumber, but on minimum wage-ish, but hopefully acquiring skills for the future. He's had lots of problems with addiction, and just getting himself straightened out but old habits die hard and I am scared to ask too many questions - I prefer to delude myself that everything is fine.
