Programme has launched a new Org Chart today, bad news is I am way to close to the top of the chart for my comfort, good news is I have a new job title and a big (C) next to my name, I don't think I'm copyrighted so assume that means contractor

Decided to buy an O'Reilly book. Ordered it on Amazon, went to O'Reilly's website, registered the purchase, bought the ebook versions for an additional $4.99 (about £3) using PayPal, sent them to Dropbox, opened Dropbox on my iPad here at ClientCorp, opened book in iBooks and started reading. Total time for the entire process: about three minutesComment

Just spend an hour or so installing USB 2 RS232 dongly things to get the PicStart Plus(tm) Pic programmers working with the new serial portless boxes.
The dongly things are pukka FTDI dongly things and install amazingly easily, unlike the useless crap I purchased previously.
Now a happy lizard.Comment

All the euphoria of the weekend has long gone and the yawning chasm between now and 5pm Friday is so wide that fat American tourists are turning up in RVs to peer over the side of it and eat ice-cream.
So I'm off to the pub tonight, which is nice.Comment
