wish I could but only got an ipad1 which wont update
AFAIK my iPad 2 will get iOS 8 (which I'll probably get around to installing the week before iOS 9 comes out), but I doubt it'll get updates beyond that
My 3GS is already trapped on iOS 6. Then again, it's about five years old, and the battery is starting to decline, so I'll have to get a new phone soon anyway.
Yep - excellent. You should give it a go. Very friendly. All ages, shapes and sizes turn up. Our local parkrun celeb is Paula Fudge - former 5K world record holder, and we've also had Mike Gratton - former London Marathon winner. But the real star of our parkrun is Dennis - a white haired, stringy octogenarian who rarely misses a week and usually comes in last to lots of cheers and applause.
Have done 95, so nearly at my 100 t-shirt, but been volunteering the last couple of months, 'coz my hip's dodgy.
Really missing it - hoping to be running again soon, but got my Inca Trail at the end of September, so don't want to risk it till after that.

hmm, wonder if I can force an update with a jailbreak?

Probably not - there'll almost certainly be hardware dependencies. I noticed that part of the upgrade process on mine was "Updating firmware" in addition to the "Installing" step
