So there we are; roller spring catch thing fitted to new cupboard door in kitchen.

Cooker hood "installed"*.

Dining room sort of tidied up a bit by taking shedloads of tools back next door, next door now being even more untidy than usual.

And it's back to work tomorrow for the brainwashing session.

It's no wonder I'm suicidal.

Just as well I can't go postal.

*i.e. I put a 13A plug on the end of the wire so I can plug it into the cooker socket and screwed 2 additional screws into the wall, fitted the grease filter thingies. It does seem to help a bit with the pong of cooking but not as much as I'd hoped.

It's a toughie. I had resolved that I was definitely quitting at the end of this renewal, but after a discussion the other day it looks probable that I'll be in for one more round...

Kept getting small extensions to see the end of the project after go live and through warranty period, here until the 14th, penciled until the 26th and thats probably gonna be the end.

However there is another project they want me to work on, but the skill set doesn't quite match mine so I may be a less hands on techie role and more policy/process while they find someone else.
