I bought a pair of Bose noise cancelling headphones when I was on one gig. Even when I wasn't listening to anything, they were big enough to clearly send out a signal that I didn't want to be disturbed.

Filtered out the normal office crap, and meant I could focus on CUK the work that they were paying for.

I found a site wot lets you download ancient Byte magazines.

Unfortunately the small downloads are 50+Mb per issue & as time progressed they got ever larger.

The cat we adopted (thats him in my avatar) turned out to be a rare peruvian water cat. Or at least thats the only explanation I can come up with for his behaviour. FOund him out in the garden yesterday evening in the pouring rain, lying in the middle of the lawn. Chased him back inside (he didn't want to go in) and first chance he got he was back out in it, sat on the patio table getting soaked again.


He's a strange little animal.
