Tea was brought to me from the Turkish place past the park, as I had a loyalty discount to use in the next week or two, so why not today!
And I watched part two of the Moors Murders thing on iPlayerComment

Apparently there's been some weather in that London so we're delayed departing Paris.
On the plus side, the transfer from Schengen to non-Schegen at T2G was seamless and super quick. Would use the Air France Hop service again just for that.Comment

Tonight's reading has been a re-reading of The Martian by Andy Weir, because I first read it back in 2019 and have no memory of the Before Times. It's good
Shopping tomorrow! It'll be at Big Sainsbury's, as the new Viz came out today. If I leave early enough, I might pop into M&S as well!

Morning denizens
Grey start out, as befits the first day of my holiday. There's even a 55% chance of rain! It's relatively mild, though not chilly: currently 15°C with an expected high of 19°. The barometers are up, but only just, at 1005/1013mB
I'll be going shopping in a bit. And tomorrow, I'm going to the joint birthday celebrations of my cousin and his wife up in Swithland. So it's quite a hectic start to the break, by my standardsComment

Hello again.
TFIF, etc.
Blue skies and sunshine on a very pleasant walk earlier.
The Wife's boss is coming to stay tonight, so we're going out for dinner. This means I'll get to have another big walk this evening (should be well over 20,000 steps by the end of the day)…Maybe we ain’t that young anymoreComment

Morning.
Friday apparently.
Dry.
Grey.
Sunless.
Cool in here at 21.1 deg, 22 in the kitchen, 20 in the leanto, 17 in the saltinghouse.
1012.5 mBar, 29.9 in Hg, 759.44 Torr, 14.685 psi, (up from 1011 last night), 68% RH (Lidl electric).
Meanwhile on the 5th of February 2020 WTFH was in Memphis, LM's report thing had broken, Brillo popped in, NF spotted some chem trails, and wattaj made an Amazon return via the Post Office and Greggs.
Washing frenzy in progress. Dunno what the drying status is in the ongoing greyness.
Lunch: brunch. Entertainment: the photography thing at 11:45.
Freecell score: 90%, running average: 83%. Streak of 49. Ho hum.
Washing frenzy approaches completeness with the shirts & cottons airing upstairs.
Tea: chicken in white sauce etc. Nice enough.
Entertainment: PM <click>
"The Nevadan (1950)" with that Randolph Scott.
Foyle's War S5 E3. VE day and Slapton Sands.
