HWMBO informed me yesterday afternoon that he will be arriving on Friday (tomorrow) and not Wednesday next week.

This is because his client has only just confirmed that he's due in Amsterdam on Monday to deliver a course and flying direct from Glasgow is prohibitively expensive as a result. Him being a nice person has taken the opportunity to (a) save his client some money and (b) get someone else to pay for him to stay with me for a weekend.

This means bed linen laundering now needs to be done today and not at the weekend.

Damn it! Keep forgetting what a pali is, please remind me yet again.

Walk with yet another loony lady booked tomorrow.

Pali, short for plaindrome palindrome. Where the post number reads the same forwards as well as backwards.

In words, a palindrome would be noon or madam.

                      Lunch: ham toasties

It's supposed to be brightening up out there around now, but it isn't. Still time though, I suppose
