Old farty arty thing this morning. Haven't added any monsters to my painting yet but daresay I will as usual.

Checked out a local walk later as I expect I will have to take charge of the old farts group walk next week because the usual leader lady injured herself last time and won't be active for a few weeks. Not summit I am looking forward to, I am not the leader type.

Well, that was simple enough. Another lot of bloods sent off for analysis.
What was less simple was when I asked why they needed another sample. Firstly it was because of a peak on my T waves in an ECG, then it was raised potassium, then it was looking at family history. Finally, it was "your GP has asked for more tests so we'll see what comes back, you'll have the results on Thursday"

          Tea: shepherd's pie

Accompanied by the thing with the motorway cops that aren't on the motorway plus the dashcam clips that aren't related to what they're doing

More wrestling with the Swift thing; no progress, but I've found a very detailed article on constructing and combining complex predicates which might prove useful. If it doesn't help, I might just switch to using the old CoreData APIs

And then some more of Porno read

                Morning all
Early start at my computer due to client work that needed doing before they start.

Dog walk will be shortly after 9am on this lovely sunny morning.

                  Morning denizens

Sunny start, though the weather app asserts that it's only "mostly sunny" on the basis of a few high, gauzy wisps diffusing approximately 1% of the sun's rays. The warm-but-not-quite-as-warm theme continues: 10°C now with an expected high of 20°. The barometers are up some more at 1011/1019mB

                    Morning.

                    Wednesday apparently.

                    Dry.

                    Sunny.

                    Blue sky.

Cool in here at 18 deg, 18 in the kitchen, 16 in the leanto. Spiders everywhere.

1015.5 mBar, 29.9876 in Hg, 761.687 Torr, 14.728 psi, (up from 1013 last night), 67% RH (Lidl electric).

Meanwhile on the 16th of January 2020 BR14 popped in, Brillo popped in, LM popped in, NF suggested he might get the mystery bike fixed (), WTFH popped in, and series of Oak Island Nutjobbery were discussed: Brillo on S7 and me on S6: same bollox, different bits of wood.

Shopping trip to Lidl(tm), Aldi, and Tesco done dusted washed dried sanitised & put away. Pity the 38 bus didn't turn up.

Met Linda who used to work in the parents' care home whilst shopping in Tesco.

                    Lunch: brunch.

Entertainment: Y&Y waffling on about The Grand Piano scam. And running shoes.

More potching in the garage: gluing together some ancient trunks/toolboxes, one of which belonged to my grandfather.

There's some bottles of "stuff": I'll bet it's hideously toxic, a bit like that lindane I found the other year.

Gave the day lilies and the japanese honeysuckle another dose of Agent Orange: a different brand this time incase they're getting aclimatised to the other stuff.

Now getting outside another mediocre mug of coffee. Nice enough if you like that sort of thing & don't believe in expensive machines.

Tea: chilli con carne with rice. Nice enough.

Entertainment: PM. Doctor Who: Colony in Space E4, 5, 6. The Daemons E1.

Thing about some Lake District walk or other with lead mines.

                    Thing about Jean Harlow.

Maigret and the Fortune Hunter (2001).

                    Bit of Alien Resurrection (1997).

Do some puzzles in morning to wake me old brain up. Odd that the Saga quick crossword always seem much harder than the ordinary one. Must get ready for me local history group meet up soon.
