    Morning denizens

A grey and still breezy start out, though according to the weather radar, the last of the main belt of rain has now passed over us heading east. Mild enough at 9°C ("feels like" 6°) with an expectation of 11° later, possibly accompanied by a touch more wind and rain before it turns sunnier. The barometers are down to 996/1004mB

      Morning.

Monday, though I was convinced it was Tuesday for some reason.

      Grey.

      Dark.

      Dank.

      Dreary.

Torrentially wet on occasion. Lots of water in the river.

      Sunless.

Chilly in here at 13.3 deg, 12 deg in the kitchen, 11.5 in the leanto. (It was 11 deg in the saltinghouse yesterday).

1005.5 mBar, 29.692 in Hg, 754.18 Torr, 14.584 psi, (unchanged), 68% RH (Lidl electric).

Just had an invalid page url on this post .

Meanwhile on the 28th of December 2019 NF managed to get a post in whilst Brillo swamped the thread.

Walk (unabbreviated) walked. I think it was a bit sunny now & then but can't really remember.

      Lunch: brunch.

Entertainment: Y&Y waffling on about something.

Freecell score: 84%, running average: 81%. Not in the zone again today.

House roughly vacced: moved stuff in the living room & vacced underneath. Ditto for part of the junk room but not so much. Stone me, books are heavy.

Tea: chilli con carne (tinned) with rice: nice enough with extra chilli added.

Entertainment: PM. Started whistling Prussian marching songs when the bit about the AFD came on. Worrying, really. .

Oak Island bollox E25 IIRC. Which should see the end of S11. (or is it 10?). WTF I watch it is a complete mystery, wrapped in an enigma, since it's total absolute bollox these days with all the innerest of a root canal.

Bollox it's S10 E24 and there's E25 next week, assuming they manage to enter 4 8 15 16 23 42 into the appropriate Apple ][ in the "Hatch". . Why am I still watching this bollox?

NCIS S21 E6. . The Truth is Out There.

Just making sure tpd was still here. .

Strange dream before waking in which a chap I last worked with in 1978 featured, and who I haven't seen since 2013 when my dear mother lost her purse (found in the doctor's surgery in the end, dear me, I don't miss all that sort of tulipe & no mistake).

          Morning all
Raining earlier, but brightening up now. Yesterday's flight was a tad bumpy on the way up and on the way down, although the cruise was quite smooth.
Didn't realise how good a job he pilot had done until we went to disembark at Bristol and some people were nearly blown off the steps of the plane.

            Morning all

Damp from overnight rain. As I started typing the sky changed from cloudy with patches of blue to grey cloud. It's scurrying along and has changed back again. Currently 12 degrees with a high of 13 expected. Showers expected early afternoon before the sun makes a reappearance. Barometer down to 1011 mBar.

            Sunrise 06:57; Sunset 17:33

This week kicks off the work for the new client. A few intro meetings here and there while they sort out various accesses.

Hmmm. I am moderator for my local town's Freecycle group and somebody has posted a signed framed photo of Gordon Ramsey. Who would want that?

Re photos, yet another picture of this ghastly old twit has gone online on one of my volunteer thing websites.

Lunch has been the overnight soup, to wit, chicken, tomato, and lentil. This time, I took inspiration from a few Lebanese recipe sites when deciding what to season it with, so assorted spices went in. Turned out pretty nicely

Typical. Just about to head out to the hairdresser and the heavens open.

                    Chicken leftovers for tea (again)

I'm nearly done with the glut of chicken now. I'm looking forward to having something else

This evening's viewing was a further episode of the RAF thing.

And later, more of the Renaissance book, in which idiotic popes and dukes keep inviting the French to invade because they have a cunning plan, only for the French to end up doing the complete opposite of what the plan involved
