Turned out they didn't demo the stuff in the end, it was just a load of waffling about stuff and some slides

Still, at least it gave me the impetus to sort out a load of stuff

It's too warm to go for a walk. I'm going to wait a bit and see if it cools down towards sunset, because at the moment even the breeze from outside is too warm

The peculiar thing about my flat is that it is deceptively cool. On days like today you really feel the difference in temperature as you come down the stairs into my little patio.

I often think I need a cardigan or jacket or an extra layer; generally I don't and end up going outside way overdressed.

You'd think I'd have sussed it after 5+ years...

The hotel have a rum and cigar bar!!

Due to (a) having to remain onsite while we await results from our arrivals PCR test and (b) an island wide curfew over the weekend we will be definitely sampling its wares.

Feel free to recommend rums for me to look out for because I'm all up for trying them (I like a dark rum best).

Dinner was provided by Thunderbird Fried Chicken on Earls Court Road (very yummy)

Ents has started with UC, OC and now moved on to Constantine (2005).

I'm more a light rum person (not white, not black). i find black rums too sweet and cloying.
my favourites are appleton estate(jamaica) and mount gay(barbados).
pussers (BVI) might be suitable though, as they supplied the RN for a long time.

As evening slowly faded into dusk: walk briskly walked, red, green and blue rings closed

Still very warm out. Roll on the rain!
