Walk briskly walked in the Simpsonesque 23°C evening, red and green rings closed

I was thinking of popping up to Sainsbury's but on reflection, I don't really need anything. If I change my mind, I'll pop up tomorrow instead

      Productive day at the office.

      My PC is fully functioning

Now deciding what to have for dinner.

Tea: steak and London Pride casserole, with chips and peas. Very tasty

Accompanied by a bit of Traffic Cops

Ents was Trucking Hell. No Rory. I don't think I've seen him in season 4.

Further viewing was S7E5 of Hospital covering the appalling state of mental health provision along with a bit of bone sawing for light relief

              Friday tomorrow!

              Goodnight all

                Morning denizens

Another grey 17°C start, with a high of 21°C expected and a small risk of sunshine mid-evening; barometers showing 1010/1018mB, so down but not to any meaningful degree - about 1mB IIRC

                  Morning all

Overcast but dry. Feels humid. Currently 18 degrees, forecast high of 24 later. The sun may poke its nose out but it's going to stay cloudy with a low chance of rain all day. The barometer continues to mark the slow decrease in air pressure, now down to 1020 mBar.

I omitted to report last night that bins were trundled before bedtime.

                  Today's Kantar diary fact is:
Christa Tybus of London sets record of 24.5 hours of hula-hooping 1978

Two cases of monkey pox in north Wales.

                    Doomed etc.

                    Grey. Very grey.

                    Grey white sky.

Cooler at 19.1 deg in here.

Friday apparently since Desert Island Discs is on.

Walk walked in the gathering gloom.

Whilst gloomy it is, drizzly it isn't.

                    Smalls out of the TD.

Shirts out of the WM and into the TD.

And a slice of tinned ham (Tesco) because I'm worth it.

                    Shirts out of the TD.

Cottons out of the WM and into the TD.

Anyone seen a will to live?

I seem to have lost mine.

Shirts roughly iRoned and airing in the bedroom.

Cottons out of the TD & airing on the banisters.

                    When the fun stops, STOP.

Me, weeks ago: "We shouldn't really do it that way, it's against GDS guidelines and it also makes the whole thing vastly more complicated."

It was decided we'd do it that way

Them, today: "We shouldn't really do it that way, it's against GDS guidelines. Can you change it to the other way?"

                      Me: (but on mute)
