    Morning all

    Sunny and blue sky again.

A tad nippy at 5 degrees. Cloud cover to increase from lunch time with a high of 12 forecast.

First coffee being drunk. Will have a bit of toast in a while.

Overcast and cold out, but no rain. The garden would like some.
…Maybe we ain’t that young anymore

        cool & clear.

Breakfast eggs, roast beef (packet on date code) tomatoes and garlic mayo.

Served with a french press full of cold brew coffee. This actually is the first time I have made it, very nice!

          Morning all

          Cold.

          Dry.

          Bit windyish.

          White sky.

          Not sunny.

Apparently Wednesday so all Y Saes can go out & about now while we Cymro stay locked down.

Though the cemetery is open again.

Cooking kippers on the open coal fire was good, all the pong went up the chimney and you knew when it was cooked by the juices dripping on the cinders.

As someone once observed "you could live in a cave".

            Morning denizens

A bit cloudy out, but with the sun breaking through fairly frequently at the moment; only 8°C though

Started doing the exercise bike thing but my right knee began to complain quite quickly, so I called it off

Might try again later if the knee seems better, but maybe it needs a day or two’s rest. We shall see.

Lunch: beans on Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed toast, corner yogurt thing, bramble jelly sandwich on Morrisons wholemeal, sunflower seed and spelt, 0.91 pints of good Glengettie tea.

Once I've done the dishes, it's off out for a little walk, then back down the garden to do some more clearing of what will eventually turn into Yet More Lawn to mow.

Well it's easier doing that than planting spuds. .

There'll be no blackberries or raspberries out of that patch from now on.

Oximeters have arrived for HWMBO and I. They do take a bit of fiddling about! Mine was saying I had PR of 24 and SPO2 of 80% at one point!

Now a more normal 97 / 63 after discovering my left middle finger is the best place to take a reading.

                    SpO2: 96% HR 57.

96: 68 after 5 "pressups" (which nothing like the pressups I used to do 45 years ago. )

96: 93 after 5 trips up and down the stairs.

Now 98: 57 after sitting down for a minute.

                    3 minutes later 97: 55.

                      99%, 57bpm

Mine sometimes gives crazy readings if it’s not on right too. It bleeps repeatedly when it thinks something’s too far out of whack but as it seems to produce a rolling average, I sometimes have to take it off and leave it for a second or two before putting it back on, rather than just adjusting it until it’s happy
