The temperature’s dropping quite quickly out now the sun’s down - 13°C already. I suppose I’d better close the windows

Did you go to an Ed Sheeran concert in 2018?

The theory being for insurance purposes. Are you able to make enquiries how widespread this phenomenon is?
I will certainly ask the question. They usually burn down for insurance purposes so one wonders if perhaps the insurance companies are on to this and have requested extra measures.
Doing a stroll around Windsor on 11 Sept 2 Oct for Alzheimer's Society. You can chuck me a few quid here if you like: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/lmallen-1

Not as far north, but I noticed a bar by the railway station here was fully boarded up when I went past there while the car was having its wheels attended to the other day. Didn’t spot any other examples as I ambled through the city centre though.

I quite liked the notice in the window of one fast food place (a local one, not a chain): “We are closed for an indefinite period”
