Sun’s still shining, looking kinda nice here.
Turns out the IT director on the project is visiting an architect this afternoon, which is another reason why they were keen for me not to come into the office. I suspect my day will finish in the next hour or so, OK, I might work until 1pm.

      Dracula part 3 done.

It was a bit peculiar in parts but an excellent ending.

Now waiting for a friend to finish work to meet up for eats and drinkies.

I remember that one. Did he have a lot of credit cards?

I think the best one was the chap from Slovakia or somewhere close who obviously was a stranger to soap & water, wasn't allowed to enter the country, and was compelled to take a shower for the benefit of the passengers on the flight back whereever he'd come from.

The state of the shower afterwards was a sight to behold.

I'll be rather happy when Nish Kumar is off the News Quiz.

        Obnoxious git that he is.

Yes, I think that was him. Said it was the banks who’d decided not to put any customer names on them

Subway for lunch, and I decided to look under the hood of my rental. I though it was a 2l 4 pot, because the rev counter redlined at 6k, and the car couldn’t pull teeth.
            Turns out it’s a V6.
I didn’t realise you could get such poor performance from a modern V6.

                Looked up the specs:
                3.5L V6, 288bhp, 18mpg average.
Allegedly 0-60 is 6.7sec, but I think the person who measured that possibly died of boredom.

                  automatic three speed box?
                  aerodynamics of a housebrick?

dinner has been steak and kidney pie, chips and peas.
                    and Rioja.

still mulling over selling my birthright for a mess of potage.

found All4 have 'hill st blues'.
                    been a looong time.

Remarkably, the kerb weight is “only” 1,900kg, and it’s got a 6 speed box (ZF). As for looks, here’s one of those marketing shots designed to make it look as good as it possibly can...
