We’re still getting the occasional shower, but it seems they’ll taper off and tomorrow will be dry. So I’ll leave the shopping until then.

took about 2 hours to get in this morning

seems that the Parkway in Manchester was flooded or something so everyone was finding different routes...

anyway unsurprisingly it's raining today in Manchester

On plus side, blood donation #80 done.

On minus side, while stealing chicken for dinner tonight, I got very muddy. I do wish the land owner would sort out the drainage.

Rather nice today with the sunshine & all that.

Since I'll be in Cardiff this evening, the shower got moved to lunchtime.

Lunch was baked beans on Morrisons sunflower and pumpkin seed toast (crust).

It was very nice being full fat salt & sugar baked beans not the tasteless "lite" version.

By the time they've taken everything out of everything even Soylent Green would taste better.

Speaking of which there was a lovely Soylent Green moment in the BTVS "Doublemeat Palace" ep the other day.
