Morning denizens
Not so cold out this morning, apparently, but that's because it's cloudy

Correction: there is a version (or versions?) of the Sutcliffe musical sketch out there (you can find it on YouTube) but the edit we saw had material that isn't out there anywhere elseOriginally posted by NickFitz View Post…whole sketches that were cut at the behest of Channel 4 like "Sutcliffe: The Musical starring Peter Sutcliffe as himself"…
Somebody asked about the graphics in the Q&A, and he explained that they were made by graphics people who worked for ITN, and relished the opportunity to take their normal thing and, as he put it, "turn it up to twelve"

I wish someone at this end client would tell me what they want. Stopping people doing stupid things doesn’t really generate the paperwork the management seem to loveOriginally posted by NickFitz View PostBack to ClientCo in the morning. I wonder if I'll manage to remember what I was doing during the journey there, or if I'll have to spend most of the day trying to work out what I was up to, as usual
Goodnight all

You need to work harder making management look good whilst stopping stoopid people doing stoopid things. Maybe if you draw some big pictures and get them some crayons you may have some joy.Comment
