Morning all. Another nice day. It isn't right at all. I have a deep sense of foreboding about this summer.Comment

Just seen the tail end of a hawk-like bird as it leapt from the roof of clientco and headed towards the Stray. I'll keep an eye out for it again and see if I can identify it.Comment

Fecking esteemed customer in the lab.
Annoying twat that he is.

Phone call from the garage: "Are you sitting down"?
"Umm, yes…" I say, thinking this sounds ominous.
"It passed!"

I knew one year it would happen!

OK, so the car passed but when I got in it to leave, the battery couldn't turn it over and they had to give me a jump with a booster pack
It ran fine after that, and I managed to avoid stalling it on the way home. But I need to pop into Halfords, as this battery is definitely struggling to cope
Anyway, I'd better start getting ready for my trip down to London. Not going yet, mind, as I don't want to arrive before the congestion charge period ends

Feck.
I'm left with the hearing1 impaired6 chap8 & his1 minder taking up space in the lab.
It's painful listening to the inane conversation as they go through some assignment or other that's due in on or before 23:59 this evening.
And my hayfever is not helping overmuch.
Hurrah!
They've gone.
Time to switch everything off.Last edited by zeitghost; 5 May 2017, 15:01.Comment
