Cold here, and grey, with intermittent wan sunshine.

Off down to the care home shortly to sort some stuff out re ZeitMater.

    Ho fecking hum.

Then it's time to fettle the washing machine, and maybe take a sander to the front door case which is looking quite disgraceful.

Grey here. My new toy (Garmin Vivoactive) has arrived, so I am sitting very inactively in my armchair, waiting for it to update its software, and working out what it can do.

Off to the zoo tomorrow (probably) so should be good for testing out my step counter. I wonder if there's a gibbon impersonator calorie counter app...

Talking of Gibbon, wonder if he completed his OU degree?

It's flipping cold in Nottingham too.

In other news, I bought a ham hock for £2.35 from Morrison's yesterday. With marrowfat peas and a bit of veg there's a meal for 4 for 3 quid!

Having forgotten to turn the fan heater off whilst I went out, the living room is now like a furnace.

But all the shirts are dry.

As is the air, which is down to 44% RH.

Couldn't find a cap for the now unused hot feed to the washing machine despite wandering desperately around B&Q.

And ZeitMater is definitely in a bad way, they think she's had another TIA overnight.

She could hardly recognize me when I went in.

              Ho very hum.

The stess of the visit is what led to the visit to B&Q & Currys at Morfa.

The Miele tumble drier is the same price as the washing machine. £950.

Though the cheap one is a mere £600.

Oh, I forgot, I visited Machine Mart too.

Which was oddly empty for a Saturday afternoon.

                I don't know why.

Today's haul from mother's flat is all the old camera equipment (+ 3 pairs of binoculars). Off to google to see whether it needs to be a) binned b) sold or c) donated to charidee.

You may be correct, I believe the country's rugby football company were trouncing the Italians.
