Fishfinger sarnies.

Funny how stuff like this pans out. I was off on wednesday for medical purposes, which allowed me to buy nice bread from the bakers. This having gone stale by yesterday reminded me of the lump of cod I got some months ago and slung in the freezer. So, breadcrumbs, slices of cod, an egg and ten minutes frying -> proper fishfingers

Sleepy now though...

Oh and btw you can always freeze breadcrumbs, I used to do that when I had nice leftover bread. They work just as well fresh as frozen.

Did you deep fry or just shallow fry in the pan?

They were shallow fried. I only had olive oil, and not enough to fill a pan for deep frying. I shall be making them again though
