So did I, mmmmm burger in puff pastry NOM

Am considering making sour dough bread, but not sure if I can be bothered with a week of setting up a starter.

B*gger! I was going to go to the butcher this evening and pick up some pork belly to cure so I can smoke it this weekend, but the electrician is turning up.

Will have to do it tomorrow I guess, at least with the vac pack it only takes 2 days to cure, that way I can dry it out on Saturday and then cure it Sunday.

      Yuup.

That's more or less the case with Robert's shoppe.

It was started by Ralph (the Books) in ye olde Swansea Market many moons ago, then transplanted to the shop.

Lady Tester has caught a thief among the staff at the old peoples home, with the aid of a tiny webcam and a UV marker pen. He's been nicking 50 euros out of old people's wallets. Arrested on the workfloor.

        Very good indeed.

Did she say "You are busted, Scumbag" in appropriate Sgt Belker fashion?

            Byeeeee

            Another tedious day over.

            Ho hum.

Hopefully tomorrow will be a bit more lively.

Successfully navigated to Uppingham, where I found two excellent secondhand bookshops

Unexpected return to Autumn, so I made an expected rhubarb crumble with what was left in the freezer.

                  V good.

Bad back put paid to my plan to go to the pub

I thought I'd be able to manage it, but the experience of walking over to the shop and back convinced me that walking a mile-and-a-bit and back might be more of a problem than I'd thought
