So it only applies to CL1 frameworks and not Consultancy1 frameworks ? I haven't seen that stated anywhere though?

Consultancy 1 is delivery based and as with the website example is probably outside albeit not as clearly outside as the website example.merely at clientco for the entertainmentComment

Just heard, one of the larger Professional Services firms has been told by the Scottish Govt that they won't accept them employing contractors to work on any of their contracts from April 2017 - they'll need to employ them instead.

How that will work in anyone's guess, but the only sensible conclusion is a consultancy feeding a PS client will ensure that all its people are salaried, be they employees, FTC victims or PSCs.Blog? What blog...?Comment

But this sounds like the Scottish Government forcing Consultancy to do something they may not actually need to do, out of what sounds like extreme caution. There's many business relationships at risk there, so that is big news. Remember HS2? The last thing HS2 needs is a 12% hike in costs on contracting staff.Comment
