HMRC enquiries for Schemes through ASMG / White Collar
Just received an APN for tax year ending 2006 for ASIOM scheme that I was introduced to by ASMG.
Reached out to Saleos consultancy and advise was to try and get in touch with ASMG to find out if they have anything in place to assist former clients.
Given ASMG appear to have closed their doors it looks like this is the year it all starts to get very real. Does anyone who was affiliated with ASMG have any contacts with ASMG or received any specific advise on how to proceed other than to cough up and hope for the best.
ASMG went a long time ago and everyone moved to WC.
WC are providing myFD to support ex WC clients for a fee but that doesn't cover ASMG as they were Dotas registered and WC aren't.

I have been looking for information regarding the HMRC investigation into the 'so called' tax avoidance scheme and the court case which is currently undergoing regarding this issue. Does anyone have any information regarding this?
I have now been sent a 'settlement offer' letter, after several other letters received with information which goes way over my head. If I sign and pay, it seems to imply that I agree that I owe this tax and will not receive any money back should they lose the court case.
