Don't get an Audi - Audi drivers are bellends.

Some Audi drivers are bellends. So are quite a lot of other people. I find the ones with performance models (AMG, M3, RS4 etc) and SUVs (often women) tend to be the worst. Range rovers are particularly bad, and Porsche Cayennes. The average Audi family estate driver seems to be pretty much the same as any other family estate driver. People with well looked after older cars tend to be among the more considerate IMO. A surprising number of what I would call fairly posh people fit that description, they cruise around in well maintained 10 year old mercs and jags and so on and are generally polite on the road.

BMW have done a brill job on this FWD=bad stuff, but it's utter bollocks 90% of the time in real world conditions, and it means for a given size that you get less interior space (as well as being useless in wet/snow). In fact FWD BMWs are on the way.....

4WD is much better all round IMO. I don't think I'd buy another 2WD car now, unless it was something like a Ferrari.

Had a long think about this following all these posts - believe it or not it was significant food for thought (I know this is General!). In the end I decided the following:

- High MPG > 60 MPG
- Low cost (tyres, service etc. and can be serviced at an Indy)
- Good resale value
- comfortable drive and good on the motorway
- Sod BMW

There was only one car I could come up with, anybody able to guess?
