It might have changed now, but in the 70's, I used to worry about teachers, for their choice of profession, for they were a violent lot, socially challenged and inherently lazy. I had a bit of a word with the school last week, as they announced they would be striking, the week after announcing unauthorised absences from school would incur a £60 fine. I proposed fining the school for forcing the kids to be at home, instead of school.Comment
