I cycle commute all year round from east to central london. This is silly season, do not get sucked in - our fair weathered cyclists will be gone by the first cold snap, Even with the overnight rain the roads were quieter this morning. For me the main point that helps me whatever vehicle you are in - eye contact.
Just remind yourself that everyone is human, 99% of us are stupid so we have to help them out by communicating/signalling and not going for the last 100m down the Champs-Élysées. You can tell by the bike and clothing the type of cyclist and therefore anticipate their tw@ttish behaviour.
I have called a few for cutting me up, undertaking and pulling out on me almost daily in the last month. Doesnt take much to get a jibberring apology out of them
