No I guess not. Burglars are a savvy lot and probably know your hovel won't be good for much but a few mouldy old potatoes you were saving for Christmas.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostWe don't need a "hotline" to the Police though.

When you live in a classy area, the need for Police vigilance is minimal.Originally posted by sasguru View PostNo I guess not. Burglars are a savvy lot and probably know your hovel won't be good for much but a few mouldy old potatoes you were saving for Christmas.

Most of the local populace think that "crime" is where you walk on the cracks on the pavement.
No, the last people to get mugged down this way were the Spanish Armada, and that is how we like it.
In Wandsworth most of the "headhunters" still have bones through their noses.

Yes maybe when I'm as old and dull as you I'll retire to your old folks community in the sticks.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostWhen you live in a classy area, the need for Police vigilance is minimal.

You could not afford it sas. Best you stay up there in your ex-council gaffe with your high fences and prowling burglars.Originally posted by sasguru View PostYes maybe when I'm as old and dull as you I'll retire to your old folks community in the sticks.

If the good people down here want to converse with primates like you, they simply head to the Zoo.

There are undoubtedly places in the region where I live that are more expensive than places where you live. Without getting specific on individual properties it would be impossible for either of us to be certain who may have the more expensive property. But that would be to measure against monetary value alone. There is much more to it than that. You appear to know the price of everything and the value of nothing. One of many failings on your part.Originally posted by sasguru View PostDo you seriously think where you live is more expensive than where I live?

However, I have been to Wandsworth, and I would not live there for all the tea in China.
Even if you DO have a nice house, it would be like having a rosy apple in a box of turds.
