a) Being on hold.
b) When on hold, having to listen to the same record over and over and over and over and over.
c) When on hold, the music suddenly stopping and a human voice coming on and saying "Thank you for holding" which makes you jump as you think they've finally answered, but it is just a recorded message.
d) When on hold, the music being MUCH louder than the "Thank you for holding" message.
e) Dialling the number on the email, being on hold for 11 minutes, then being told to ring another number. My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

I hate British Gas with a passion. There is a boring story behind it, and you'd hate them too if it had been you.
Phoning your energy supplier to ask why you've got an unexpected "We are very sorry to lose you as a customer..." email to find out that British Gas has started the process to switch you from your current supplier to them.Minor things that really piss you off !

I got the email about an hour ago. Apparently, if I had not been in touch within 2 days, the transfer (to God-only-knows what payment package) would have gone though.
That really would have pissed me off!My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.Comment

The 0.2% interest on my National Savings account. Flicking through the passbook, I got £27 interest on £200 in 1982, and £2 on £1000 in 2010.
Closure form (which I had to queue up in the post office to get) is in the post.Comment

Supermarkets
People who push their trolley right up to the shelves whilst they take ages picking something out blocking about 6ft of shelves.
People who chat in the middle of the isle, usually leaving their trolleys where they were blocking the isle
People who seem to find it impossible to select a sandwich from the display and stand there like a idiot unable to complete the action of picking a sandwich upCoffee's for closersComment

1 decide what you want
2 enter shop
3 pick up what you want
4 pay
5 go home
Can't be that difficult, surely?
