Apple did well with Ipod/Iphone because they looked at market with fresh eyes and started from scratch, now they seem locked into the "I-everything" mentality and are trying to make the devices fit into that mould instead building stuff that matches the actual needs of consumers
Now the company that comes up with a device that does what I described above on a workable, decent piece of kit truly will change the market, ipad is just an overhyped non eventComment

HP are releasing a slate pc, as are MS in the future so your needs will be met.
