If it doesn't run Flash, then you can hardly (accurately) describe it as being great for surfing the web, can you?

If I can't watch the tennis live online, then I'm not interested. I'm not fussed whether flash is good, bad or indifferent - if I can't access the websites that I want to () on it, then I'm not going to be buying it.

Also, if I need to be using iTunes on it, then I'm out as well, since there is no iTunes for Linux yet.

iplayer works on the iphone so you should be able to watch the tennis on it.

That said, if the idea appeals to you, you'll probably want an Android tablet when they start being released (c1-2 months).

Our sources told us that Apple has done a lot of development work on the smaller, enhanced iPad, and that it is even now in the hands of a large beta-test community.

              Bwahahaaa! HP?

Not a serious contender in the long term. Seriously.

You can. A number of the native apps multitask, including the iPod app. (This also applies to iPhones.)

Can you stream from last.fm and run the eBook reader at the same time? (That's an honest, rather than facetious / rhetorical question )
