It might seem feasible to a billy-no-mates like you for the populace at large to be able to happily segment themselves off for weeks at an end, but for those of us used to interacting with other members of our species, the practicalities of attempting this are wholly unworkable. Maybe if you got out a bit more??

Poor SB. Despite some facility with words, forever condemned to live in that strange twilight zone between retardation and outright cretinism.

First thought that went through my mind upon reading the first definition was that it would serve as an appropriate nickname for CyberTw@t.
I'd rather not sully the marque 'Jag' by association with CyberTory. Couldn't we use ''unReliant Robin' instead?
My all-time favourite Dilbert cartoon, this is: BTW, a Dumpster is a brand of skip, I think.

Most call it the "sasguru" zone.

            Oh missed SB's earlier gem.
Not much that SB says can be substantiated really, being a product of the random firing of his neurons and barely understood concepts he's come across in the popular press.
Any ideas based on thinking for himself, supporting evidence or logical reasoning are just not going happen - they're outside the limit of SB's intellectual apparatus, such as it is.

Those two are contradictions. Flu isn't mild, at least I wouldn't consider any disease that can leave you bed-ridden with a high fever for several days to be mild. Compared to bubonic plague it's mild, but it's a lot more severe than a cold.

Do that many people here really not know the difference between a bad cold and flu?

No surprise there sg, you have been "missing" things all of your life. However, if you would care to google something along the lines of H1N1 + the elderly + immunity, at least one little shard of illuminating knowledge might arrive, however unexpectedly, into the dusty cobwebbed vault that you call a brain.
Try it, you might like it and god knows there is plenty of room in there.

So lets get this straight, tulip-for-brains. Because old people may have some immunity to the virus, that's a reason for everyone to spread it around as much as they can.

Not exactly going to win you any sort of intellectual prize, that logic, is it?

No, that is not what I am saying at all. Another "gem" missed.
They have this immunity to it entirely because they have previously come into contact with it.
The point is that exposure to it clearly creates immunity, and if we are fairly powerless to stop the spread of such a virus then we should not get too hung up on suggesting quasi isolationist techniques that are ultimately doomed to failure. It may work for saddos like you, living on your tod with only your jazz mag collection for company outside of the few pointless hours you spend in your grubby little office, like a souped-up Reggie Perrin. However that is no realistic template for the public at large, you know, those of us that have workmates to converse with?
