I would rather get my immunity from a quick jag than 4 days ill in my bed so I would like it if people who have pig flu respect that choice and stay clear of me.

I thought everyone here was saying Swine Flu was mild and no worse than normal flu. Some even talking about arranging parties to catch it on purpose and giving me stats showing it's nothing to even think about.
Why the sudden terror?

I looked it up on urbandictionary in case there was a meaning I was missing out on.Originally posted by RichardCranium View PostI've got a quick Jag. A 4 litre jobbie, no less.

First thought that went through my mind upon reading the first definition was that it would serve as an appropriate nickname for CyberTw@t.Comment

No terror or hysteria.Originally posted by DimPrawn View PostWhy the sudden terror?

Just annoying that selfish, ignorant idiots take it on themselves to ensure that the epidemic is worse than it should be.
Hard Brexit now!

Yes but they do have the sort of "underlying conditions" that work with the virus to cause almost all of the deaths so far, regardless of age. And AFAIK your guess about prevously-acquired resistance is unsubstantiated.Originally posted by shaunbhoy View PostIf your partner had researched it properly they would realise that unlike traditional flu, the older generation are faring better largely as a result of the fact that in their distant past they have had some exposure to similar viruses, and have developed some resistance accordingly.
Oh and another thing, keep your pointless threats to yourself.
Oh and are you a PCSO now, ordering me and my mouth about?Comment

Ho ho. Not much. Really sg, you are such an old worryguts. Despite bringing all the resources at their disposal into play, the major countries of the world have been unable to prevent this virus straddling the entire planet. It might seem feasible to a billy-no-mates like you for the populace at large to be able to happily segment themselves off for weeks at an end, but for those of us used to interacting with other members of our species, the practicalities of attempting this are wholly unworkable. Maybe if you got out a bit more??Originally posted by sasguru View PostNo terror or hysteria.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun. It is hardly a guess, but if you can't be bothered genning up on the topic you are only going to make yourself look even more panicky than ever. Forget the nonsense about PCSOs, I merely advised you that making threats on a forum like this is pretty pointless and makes you look a bit desperate. Not sure if that was the look you were going for.Originally posted by expat View PostAnd AFAIK your guess about prevously-acquired resistance is unsubstantiated.“The period of the disintegration of the European Union has begun.
