Amount of work done in trench in last 3 days: zero.Have you considered the possibility that there may be some correlation between the amount of work done and the number of turds in the trench? IS there any evidence of toilet facilities being in place for those working in it or are they having to "improvise"?Originally posted by zeitghostMorning.
Zero turd count in trench. Sommat may happen today, since there's a transit van parked up."Being nice costs nothing and sometimes gets you extra bacon" - Pondlife.Comment

Sunny but cool first thing.
Vacuum cleaner the size of a truck on the go at 7:30.
Well, it is a truck. A bit like a cement mixer, but huge vacuum cleaner on the back.
And a 10 metre long hose thingy. They are using it to remove dug out rubble from a narrow alley.
Very noisy, and emits a loud trump lasting several seconds when they turn the vacuum off.
Train on time.
Shirt sleeve weather by 11 o'clock.
Clear blue skies.
River looks inviting but I bet it's a bit nippy.Behold the warranty -- the bold print giveth and the fine print taketh away.Comment

Oh go on then, if you insist . . . .Originally posted by zeitghostMorning.
Greyish with a hint of brightness.
Warm.
Not raining (currently), though it did its best overnight.
Train on time.
Zero blindpersons.
Hill steep. Slippery bit still slippery.
Turd count in trench currently zero.
Skool in view.
Monday.
And, joy of joys, the new intake arrive this very morn.
Someone shoot me now.
It would be a mercy.
Please.
Pretty please.
Pretty please with a cherry on the top.
Uuuuuuuurgh.
