Cloudy, raining off an on. But still warm.

Been on the phone trying to sort out what's making the broadband so damn slow.
All foreign call centres and the Indians taking their time....at 5p a minute.

Does nobody hate companies that have 0871 number for their own customers to ring in. Talk about double dipping.

      Blue skies.

      Sunny and warm.

      Train on time.

      Brand spanking new carriage.

Wheels and undercarriage still showroom shiny clean.

Much better wheelchair access than old carriages.

First river muddy and swollen, second river crystal clear and normal level.

That'll be down to the storm, hail included, that we had last night.

Normal bus route getting resurfaced, so a round the houses route, with point duty constabules waving us on at every turn.

      The coffee is good today.

        Fookin Blue sky and sunny
        Fookin train on time

        <rant mode engaged>

Fookin wtf is it that everyone these days have to tote those wheely fookin suitcases behind them
what is wrong with shoulder carried luggage?

        This is good

        This is bad

        This is just criminal
& now the fookers have progressed from pulling behind to pushing

St Pancras / Kings Cross Interchange is becoming grid locked with the fookers decanting from taxis and wheeling their wardrobes on wheels around

Had to robustly guide a lead fookwit out of my way this morning, who with the rest of his extended family ( 8 + various offspring) had gotten out of their mini bus taxi - each wheeling/ pushing two items apiece all set off in a diagonal from the kerb towards St P s entrance

          Sunny with pleasantly cool breeze.

          Train on time.

More passengers than normal getting off. Am I missing something local today?

          River not mucky brown today.

          Bus ride jerky.

          Blue skies above.

Train home conveniently late, since there was a long queue in the supermarket where I picked up some odds 'n' sods.

Folks sunbathing by the river and some swimming too.

            Hot and sticky.

Unusually dark for this time of the day.

Just heard some thunder and am hoping for a downpour to cool us off.

              Morning.

              Train on time.

              Started sunny, now overcast.

              Cool breeze.

Torrential rain for hours on end last night.

              Much cooler.

              Rivers brown and swollen.

Windows system put itself to sleep on Tuesday night and didn't do any backups.

It didn't download the "Patch Tuesday" stuff.

XP Mode didn't do its auto-update stuff either.

              Sigh.
