The failure to attend has started already.

No surprise there then.

That was the most important peice of advise I was given when I went to uni.

"Just turn up to every class, you will get through it"

Some of this lot don't turn up to anything much.

It's quite depressing.

Then at the end of the year, all the sob stories come tumbling out.

Though it must be observed that one has just turned up 27 minutes early for a 9 a.m. start.

Not sure they realise that bit of paper is the difference between a low-wage dead-end job, and doing anything you want to do.
