Snowing lightly now, with heavy snow forecast for tomorrow (Tue)
I have learnt now not to look at the local weather reports I.e. Newport & Cardiff because we get harsher weather due to the height.
Our weather relates directly to the the weather in the Brecon Beacons for some reason, although we are quite a few miles from Brecon 23 miles to be exact

Made it out of London to Berkshire no problem this morning. Raining most of the way.

Snowing lightly here but not as cold as last week.

Snow still thick on the ground here, -2 deg, light flurry of snow at 5AM this morning.
Decided not to drive down to Brighton last night. Told them that I'm working from home.
Roads are really slippery, took Mrs D to work but decided not to attempt the hill this morning after watching a Jaguar sliding backwards. Went the long way around instead.
Traffic was a nightmare as everyone was driving very slowly and carefully.
One good thing is that most of the abandoned cars have now gone from the roads.
Oh well! we've got it all again this afternoon

Oh FFS, for the last few days they've been predicting heavy snowfall. And today, the day predicted, the prediction is light snow or even freaking rain.

The clouds here are almost at rooftop level, if they get any lower we'll have a snow rise, not a snow fall

Snowed again last night and a bit this morning.

Roads are ok but pavements a bit slippy.

Trains are all running fine.

River looks like an ice floe

We've got diagonal snow at the moment, settled 25mm already in 30 mins.

Long time since I've seen snow coming down this hard and heavy.

The road that was completely clear 45min ago is now white and will soon be impassable again
