Have you had any experience of driving at that kind of speed?

Also, make sure you've got decent brakes.

You can still get booked for driving that fast if the Police think its inappropriate for the traffic or weather conditions, many M3's have hit the back of an overtaking lorry when they just couldn't react fast enough.

I read a story about how the German police have a real problem with Chinese businessmen who have little experience of fast cars coming over and causing carnage on the autobahns.
Science isn't about why, it's about why not. You ask: why is so much of our science dangerous? I say: why not marry safe science if you love it so much. In fact, why not invent a special safety door that won't hit you in the butt on the way out, because you are fired. - Cave Johnson

I speed everytime I drive, even if it's only a few mph over the limit.

Usually cruise 80-90 most of the time on motorways nowadays. Would be well and truly stuffed without a license so don't like to go over a ton too often or for too long.

Used to do plenty of track days years ago to get it out of my system.

Officially my only speeding offence was doing 96 on the M6 at about 1am over 10 years ago. Roads almost deserted. I was easy pickings for the fuzz parked up on a slip road waiting for some idiot to go razzing past. I think they let me off to some extent as I recall doing well over a ton at times just prior to them pulling me. Maybe they felt sorry for me when my pissed up father (was on the way back from a cousin's wedding) got out of the car and relieved himself on the hard shoulder whilst I was in the cop car getting a talking too. Never been so embarrassed. I was waiting for them to get out and arrest him!
Feist - 1234. One camera, one take, no editing. Superb. How they did it

I am glad you have admitted to these criminal offences. Please hand yourself over into local police station. Thankyou for your cooperation.

180 mph on the A12 some years back on a fully tuned GPZ1100B1 (with an open face crash helmet.)

171 mph on the A5 between Frankfurt and Darmstadt in the C32.

I nearly topped 500mph on the A30 at Hatton Cross.
