Because our senses are nothing more than chemical reactions, is it the case that nothing exists, because we have no independent verification of them outside of our own neural pathways? Or is existence axiomatic; being qua being?
I’d like to know because I’m going to the chippy later and a kebab would be good, but the choice of sauce (chilli obviously, but hot or sweet, that is the question) will depend on your answer.
I might also want to watch Family Guy later, but that would depend on whether the Heligan Idealist Dialectic was correct, or the Marxist notion of Dialectic Materialism. When money ceases to be the tool by which men deal with one another, then men become the tools of men.
