They aren't for everyone and need to understand the table and flipper tricks etc to properly enjoy them I think. If you don't know all that it's just hitting flippers as fast as you can an no idea what's happening so not for everyone.. or many people for that matter. Can't really have fun just by walking up and having a couple of goes. Kinda see why they are obsolete nowadays.
He went straight back up to the modern game floor and spent the rest of the time on the shooters and car ones.
Slight side note it was an epic day. All the classics, after pinball spent most of the rest of the day on R-Type but everyone one from my childhood days. If there is a big arcade day out near you I'd say go. I'll be going back as soon as I can.
