      I'd like to see AI write the software to integrate native support for HTTP3/QUIC into my middleware platform, AI is nowhere near capable enough to produce original stuff as its written to simply rehash existing stuff and doesn't understand context beyond its limited vision

        Quite, its simply a way to avoid the costs of employing someone but it wont work because of IR35 and such like legislation.

            By my calculation:

            If the same shop only employs the same student one day a week then no employer NICs would be due because below the employer NIC threshold. The student then works a different shop the other days.

            If the student is working less than 1000 hours a year in total for 12ph then no tax is due either.

            So if HMRC attacks the shop/employer nothing will be due from them as long as they stick below the thresholds?

              Except IR35 kept getting strengthened to encourage companies to ensure everyone was PAYE. That's going to be the case here because £12 an hour on a gig app isn't minimum wage once you take into account holiday pay..
