Tech products that are not available

Was looking for a new clock radio, thought I'd go for an internet clock radio as FM/DAB signal is not great where we are.
The extendable metal aerial and wire aerial are pretty crap to be honest.

So, on the lookout for an internet clock radio and they just don't seem to exist any more. I'm not talking about a wireless speaker or other such streaming device, just a regular clock radio but with internet radio access.. just don't seem to exist these days.

Got me thinking, anyone else wanted to get tech products they thought were available, but don't seem to exist..

I know you say you just want a regular clock radio but there is a good reason they don't exist anymore. There is simply no market for antiquated tech any more and if you do find some they won't be as cheap as they should be as there is no market. Why not just go for one of the Amazon echo dot's that have the clock on them. Yes they can be used as a smart speak and also do a whole host of other things you don't want but it has a clock and you can ask it to play a radio station and away you go.

Loads of other options. Just ignore all the extra whizz bang and use clock and radio? It will fit nicely on the bedside table next to the cup with your teeth in, hearing aids and jam jar glasses.

Not to continue to feed the troll, but I can't help it, have you heard of google? Or are you not looking around? Sports Direct, John Lewis, Tesco, Argos and Curries to name a few sell them.

If there is even a shred of reality in the OP's post then I'd personally love to have a proper Nixie clock with radio. Not going to be cheap but some of them are gorgeous. Bonus points if I can build it myself.

100W! Stone me someone must like waking up in a hurry.

Then again it's probably a PEMP spec so driven by 3 x 2W amplifiers. .
