It amuses me how little critics seem to have to bash Starmer with. If we want to see people who really did well from donations, we only have to look at Conservative MPs.

https://news.sky.com/story/westminst...tcode-12771627 (click on any MP name after "Search for" on the right, then click "Skip Intro" at the bottom)

At the risk of being accused of "whataboutery" - but then that's pretty much what's going on here - it's early days for Labour but they'll have to work hard to equal the level of unsavouriness of the Johnson government - see https://www.theguardian.com/politics...-boris-johnson for example.

I'm quite happy to see how Labour get on over the next couple of years. If they're completely hopeless and worse than the Tories at their best (excuse the oxymoron), I'll admit I was wrong.

So you're quite to have a lying hypocrite as PM then? Boris was no saint, but he didn't sell himself as one, and he stuck to his manifesto. Starmer fails on both points.
      Blog? What blog...?

Just to paraphrase many posters here:

Not at all. I hope they succeed, what they are telling us they want to achieve is fine. They're going about it in a bloody strange way though.

I hate Starmer, he a complete tool. Luckily his cabinet look like they are ignoring him

I detest 99% of all politicians, but it must be said that this latest clueless lying bunch of toerags are as bad as the previous bunch of useless lying toerags.

I think the last PM I had any regard for was John Major, especially when we found out he was boning Eggwina.

1, It's clearly escaped your attention that the current Government are not tories. They are socialists freeloading on freebies.
2, Id take the same position if tory sleaze was going on and did when they were.
3, Stasi Starmer said he was going to be better than the tories. But freeloaded all the same.
4, As for 'whataboutery,' that seems the basis of your position: Whataboutery, the tories did it?
5, No, you will not admit you were wrong. You's just slope off into a corner or hope no one raised the point you were wrong '5 years ago' and probably revert to your favourite saying, whataboutery?
I couldn't give two fornicators! Yes, really!

Ok so what was good about this budget? How does it grow our economy?
