My Google fu may be white belt as I can't find an answer (and my accountant may consider this financial advice).

Can you have two companies sal sacrificed into your pension up to 60k? My ltd is still open due to doing a tiny bit of work and it has a larger than I'd like (especially at 18%) sum in it.

Unless I take it out now at 45% or close ltd and put the side hustle via brolly (income tax at 45,%) my only other option is to put some into my pension from the ltd. However I already sal sacrifice about half the allowance via PAYE.

so my Q is, can my ltd cover the other amount and pic up any deficit from the last 3 yrs?

I think it can, but not a definitive answer. Best check with your accountant.

I see this budget as a positive for outside contractors. Workers just got more expensive, and the workers rights bill is still to come, which will make them more expensive and risky too. Gotta be some positives in it for people like us.

Used it as well and as I don't drink or drive much (or drink and drive) I'm £0 better / worse off. Odd calc though I have to say, asks about earnings / cars / booze and kids.
