Just been to the garage to put petrol in my car and saw one of the newspapers on the stand had a headline Sunak will deport 100,000 illegals!!

The trouble is not so much the "illegals" it is the "legal" ones....that have come on the various visas! that is where the real issue lies...

Hence why Farage has got as far as he has...and as mentioned already if you look to Europe that is increasingly shifting to the right.

Something needs to be done asap....I don't fancy a Labour govt....fills me with dread but no realistic alternatives at moment...don't fancy any of them...

I think Farage will do well as so many are disillusioned and the country has gone to the dogs for many reasons...wish we could wind back 20 years or so it is all such a mess...I fear for the next generation I really do.

What is not being able to afford food vs not having Sky TV? clearly the latter tops the list of horrible surroundings to grow up in.

But the increase of uncontrolled immigration is a direct result of Farages and the Tories policy of hard Brexit. Pre-Brexit, Freedom of movement worked both ways. Post Brexit, immigration is one way and uncontrolled.

Meanwhile ex-PM Mr Brown writes about this due to his charitable work.

In Leeds, a child fails to turn up at school because she and her mother are sharing her family’s one and only pair of shoes. In Liverpool, one of two brothers turns up for football training each week because they are sharing the one pair of football boots the family can afford.

Nope....the problem started way,way before that....it was when Tony Blair opened the floodgates re immigration back in late 1990's prior to that the the numbers were very low...the issued stared when Labour were in power several decades ago ...then added to by the Tories

Rubbish. Brexit was called and won off the back of controlled and uncontrolled immigration. It was out of control back then and was going to increase exponentially whether we were in or out. It's been a problem for much longer than Brexit. Policies can't stop people wanting to come here and sitting gov (and previous ones) didn't want to deal with it back then and regardless of brexit outcome they wouldn't have wanted to deal with it now.

The numbers are there, its a fact. Blaming Brexit solves nothing.

Rishi Sunak has said he went without "lots of things" as a child, including Sky TV.

In an interview with ITV News, the prime minister, who attended the fee-paying Winchester College, said his parents "wanted to put everything into our education and that was a priority".

Mr Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty are estimated to have a personal fortune of £651m.
So you don't appreciate a man of modest means working himself into a position of wealth and influence sufficient attract the attention of the Murty family? Or do you think he met her on a Club 18-30?

He's a far better example than you know who, who hides his privileged start at a public school in case it hurts his socialist credentials and refuses to tell anyone what his actual plans are.
                Blog? What blog...?

The means of a GP and a pharmacist with a chain of shops weren't though they would be now thanks to the devaluation of their incomes under 14 years of Tory government.

He actually doesn't hide his school went from selective state to private while he was there.

Oddly Sunak hides the fact that his parents and ancestors stories are that of the British Empire unlike that of Farage.

Didn't realise I was so poor growing up: 12" Pye monochrome tv that only received BBC.

How did we survive without watching "No Hiding Place"?

I think it was one of these:

So it must have been 9". No wonder my eyes are so bad.

My family had a "Black and White" TV later to be replaced by a colour model rented from Rumbelows. Growing up surrounded by books meant that the TV was an addition to entertainment, not the sole source.
